Work life, whether you’re in the office or at home, consists of a desk and chair you sulk in all day long, a huge pile of papers, or countless tabs on your computer that makes it hang every five minutes. To lighten up your mood and add life into your workspace, here are some cute little plants that would not die on your desk – even if you feel like dying every work day. Don’t worry about the light! They’re gonna thrive even without much of it.
Cacti
This one’s a no-brainer. Succulents like cacti are fairly durable that they do not require much maintenance. These plants thrive in natural light and only require to be watered at least once a week.
Air plant terrarium
Like succulents, this plant does not need much watering and is fairly low maintenance. This one’s perfect when you want to add color to your seemingly dark workspace.
Dwarf Snake Plant
This small but tough plant is perfect for first-time plantitos and plantitas. Pair it with some white vases and pebbles to achieve a minimalist look with green accents. The best thing is that it also does not need much maintenance. Forgot to water it in weeks? It will still thrive.
Peace Lily
Put some peace on your workspace with this Peace Lily plant. This gorgeous plant can be paired with some minimalist vases to add color to your space. You can also count on this plant to purify air in your little area.
Jade Plant
If you prefer a companion that needs some sort of maintenance, put this Jade plant on your desk. It requires medium-light for a few hours a day, and some watering in the morning when the soil dries out.
