THE IDEAL BEDROOM ACCORDING TO FENG SHUI

Your bedroom is your fortress. Whatever life throws at you, your personal space is where you turn into. It’s a place that witnesses all your victories and struggles, but above all, it’s a place that gives you comfort, peace, and relaxation.

Therefore, it is important to find balance in your space, and rethinking the elements that go inside your bedroom will always be a great idea. For this matter, we turn into feng shui. To make sure that no negative energy flows into your personal bedrooms, here are some things you should avoid.

Mirrors

Not having a good night’s sleep? Mirrors might be the culprit. In Feng Shui, mirrors are believed to cause energy imbalance, which results in restlessness. You must also not put it opposite your bed because this may promote an intrusion of a third party in a relationship.

Images or paintings of only one person

Artworks featuring only one person signify solitude and loneliness. Instead of hanging these, display photos or artworks that make you feel happy and positive when you see them. It’s a bonus to put it across your bed so it becomes the first thing you see when you wake up.

Plants or flowers

For plantitos and plantitas, you might want to spare your room from your favorite plants or flowers because according to Feng Shui, these elements are thought to contain too much energy which can mess with the relaxing vibe of your bedroom. Put them in other rooms if you can’t resist your plant collection addiction.

Clutter

Aside from it being an eyesore, clutter, according to Feng Shui, creates unnecessary stress and headache. It can also block the flow of qi, and prevent things in your life from moving forward.

Pictures or paintings featuring water

This element in the bedroom is a Feng Shui taboo. It also represents high energy so you might want to place it on other parts of your home. The best part you can add this feature is on your bathrooms.

Electronics

TVs, laptops, and smartphones release electromagnetic energy even if they’re not used. Keep them away from you so you get to relax after a whole day of being in front of your screens.

Books

While it is okay to keep a few books in your room, storing too much of them in your bedroom can overpower your space and make it feel like it’s still a place for work. Just keep the ones you might want to read before you go to bed.

Try out organizing your spaces with Feng Shui and see what happens. Have a relaxing and peaceful sleep, friends!
