Once in a while, we long for a quick reset from all the noise and hustle in the city. We want some peace and quiet–a break from the work emails, stressful commute, and chaos of the world around us.

We’ve got some excellent news for you! You can get your much-awaited break just a few hours away from Metro Manila. These glamping and camping sites can help you breathe and enjoy nature for at least a day or two. 

Here are some spots you can visit in Antipolo.

The Mountain House

Find some peace and quiet in this place surrounded by lush greenery.  The Mountain House lies very near the mountain ranges of Sierra Madre, allowing you to be one with nature.

The concept is a Filipino-style house and pods that can accommodate big groups. There are also cabins which are perfect for 2-3 people.

Thodadero’s Farm And Campsite

This one’s a budget-friendly option for those who want to destress. Thodadero’s has affordable rooms you can rent and spots where you can set up your tents. If you’d like to enjoy the night sky outside, you can also go to their tower which serves as the view deck.

Singalong Campsite

If you truly want to disconnect from city life for a while, this place is for you. Tucked in the mountains of Antipolo, Singalong Campsite is a budget-friendly and great relaxation spot. They have Kubo tents,  an all-natural pool, and a Kawa bath.

Phillip’s Sanctuary

This spot is also nestled in the mountains of Antipolo. It is actually a place for different events such as team building, retreats, company outings, and more. However, it’s also a great place for camping and outdoor activities.

Phillip’s Sanctuary is surrounded by hundreds of Philippine hardwood trees and fruit-bearing plants, so you’ll feel oneness with nature at your camp.

This place can be your go-to place for a serene getaway with your family,  friends, or special someone. They have A-houses, grilling stations, swings, and a view deck overlooking the mountains of Sierra Madre.

You can enjoy the sea of clouds in the morning or the twinkling stars at night.
