Have you ever tried exploring the trails of the famous Masungi Georeserve? The good news is, they have a new offering which is more family-friendly – the Garden Picnic experience!
Masungi’s Garden Picnic includes a 20-minute stroll through the Rock Garden and the lush green forests of the reserve. On the designated picnic spots, there are throw pillows and mats waiting for you, plus a locally-sourced sandwich platter, a tea-tasting session, and a picnic guidebook.
This Garden Picnic lets you and your family relax amongst the towering trees and plants at Masungi, and enjoy the sound and breeze of nature. After the guided tour which lasts only for 40 minutes, you are given enough time to enjoy yourselves and do activities you want to do for the remainder of your three-hour stay. This is the perfect time to play games, do birdwatching, do yoga, do meditation, read a book, or do whatever bonding activities you want to do.
The Garden Picnic experience costs P1,500 per guest. The schedules for the Garden Picnic experience are plotted for 9 a.m., 10 a.m., 12 p.m., and 1 p.m. – timeslots change depending on the day (Faicol, 2021).
Masungi Georeserve is located along Kilometer 47 Marcos Highway, Baras, Rizal.
